Stefanos Dimoulas’ Titan Prometheus is a unique dance production, which follows the narrative structure of Aeschylus’ tragedy. A combination of classical and modern dance with elements of physical theatre. The ancient Greek drama meets the modern world and technology. With intense aesthetic and emotional fluctuations, atmospheric and haunting images, the audience is introduced to the dark, mythical world of Prometheus.
TITAN PROMETHEUS was firstly presented by Culture Select Organisation with two sold out shows in 2021 at the Ancient Theatre of Demetrias in Volos, Greece and set the foundation of a global tour.
The production was proudly supported by the Greek Ministry of Culture and Sports & the Greek National Opera as part of “All of Greece, One Culture – Program 2021”.
